I am looking for a best friend for the rest of my life. I am semi-retired from a family business that my wife and I started in 1979, my children became the owners about a year after my wife passed away. I still go to the store most days to help and be with family and friends. After 44 years in the business many of my customers have become very good friends, and I know that I have helped some people change their lives for the better. I am kind of a simple guy, I like trucks, guns, and dogs (especially dogs). I am a very conservative Independent politically, even though I don’t consider myself a MAGA, Trumper, I must say I see him better than any one else out there at this time. I believe this has been a great country and with a lot of hard work it can be again. There is a force that is working very hard to destroy what this country was built on, yes I believe in God, Country, and yes Apple pie is my favorite. If you don’t like dogs or firearms, we would not be a good match. I used to say way back before I got married that the who ever I married would have to at least accept guns, because I don’t want to sleep with a gun, but a very warm woman. I still feel that way. I have 3 children that are grown and all 3 run the business now and I am very close to them. As far as religion goes, I am a Latter Day Saint, not as good as I should be but still very strong in my faith. When my wife passed, I through myself into the business, that is how I handled my grief. That has been almost 10 years now and I want to do a few things with my remaining time, I am now 75, and mostly original equipment. I like to visit San Antonio, but don’t want to live there. I would like to see Alaska, I used to want to tour Mexico and Central America, but not anymore the way the world is presently. I think that I would enjoy a cruise. Been on one Disney Cruise 20 years ago, and I would like to try that again with just two people. As the song goes “I’m not as good as I used to be, but I’m as good once as I ever was “. If you think I might fit in your lifestyle, let’s talk. I really don’t enjoy texting, but I understand that it takes a little bit of time for someone to be comfortable to meet.
